Mexico IFT-012 Technical Standard Published
The Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) has published the new IFT-012-2026 standard for SAR testing.
The new IFT-012-2026 standard establishes the limits for human exposure to electromagnetic radio frequency radiation for telecommunications equipment. Manufacturers must now provide SAR test reports from laboratories accredited by the IFT for all portable and mobile devices.
